Achieving Gender Equality and Diversity in the Natural Sciences

There are many female students in natural sciences, however they are still under represented in leading positions. The Swiss academy of Sciences is organising a seminar series were several scientist from different disciplines address the possible causes of this 'leaky pipeline'. The seminars are held online every Monday between 4 and 5 pm until November 15.

Karin Schönning is a professor of nuclear physics at Uppsala University. In this role model session she will share her experiences as an academic researcher and share ideas on academic career paths. The workshop will be held in the Q-house at Stockholm University on Wednesday October 20 at 2 pm.
