Once you have fulfilled all the requirements, you should apply for a degree certificate (diploma). The diploma is free of charge and can be highly valuable. It may be required when applying for doctoral positions or by employers. Studies show that graduates with a degree tend to earn more on average than those who have completed their education but have not obtained their degree.
